We had had 9 students die in 16 months so we did a service on campus and invited people grieving things to come. We named all the students but we also gave people the opportunity to light a candle for whatever they had lost or were losing. We also invited people to write their losses down and we made them a burnt offering and let them rise like incense to God. I've never thought to do this in the parish but may steal your idea for next year.
Thanks!Erinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04851261237969264984noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7876613.post-85965485016018320922007-10-29T18:44:00.000+00:002007-10-29T18:44:00.000+00:00Lovely idea.Wish I could have been there.Lovely idea.

Wish I could have been there.Disillusionedhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03250678226289036634noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7876613.post-56874620198098216432007-10-29T18:31:00.000+00:002007-10-29T18:31:00.000+00:00What a wonderful worship idea.
