Did you know?

that the space left by a missing bike is not, as you might expect, simply of the size of the bike in question?

In fact, it expands in proportion to the usefulness of said vehicle,-so, when I came out of my front door on Monday morning to a gap where my bike had been parked, the gap was the size of a small canyon.I've been falling into it, and running even later than usual for everything all week.

Thanks, whoever took it: I hope it's being as helpful to you as it has been to me for the past several years...I do miss it.

Someone stole the priest's bike? I sure do hope they needed it.

Grrrr - the utter b£$%ard. Perhaps it's with my two that were stolen - at least they'll keep it company.

Sometimes it's the simplest of comments that serve to illustrate a chasm of difference between two worlds.

"I came out of my front door on Monday morning to a gap where my bike had been parked"

In this neighbourhood, parking a bike outside a front door (or even a back door), would be considered the equivalent of an ad hoc freecycle (sic) advert! ;-)

Which is all a tangent from the main thing here...utter gits nicking your trusty wheeled steed. Hope it was insured and you can get it replaced soon. Until then, can't you train HS to give you piggy backs around the parish? ;-)
