That takes the biscuit!

I've just been doing yet another one of those compulsively silly online quizzes, thanks to Storyteller's World...but to be honest, I'm a bit miffed. How come Tony emerges as an erudite volume by Herman Hesse, while I'm a blinking (hopping, nose-woofling) rabbit?!?!

You're Watership Down!

by Richard Adams

Though many think of you as a bit young, even childish, you're
actually incredibly deep and complex. You show people the need to rethink their
assumptions, and confront them on everything from how they think to where they
build their houses. You might be one of the greatest people of all time. You'd
be recognized as such if you weren't always talking about talking rabbits.

Take the Book Quiz
at the Blue Pyramid.

Worse still, I have vague memories of doing a similar quiz a few months ago, and emerging with the same result. I know my children have spent quite a bit of time through the years telling me that life isn't all fluffy bunnies, but honestly....

I LOVED this book as a teenager... It's not really about rabbits you know... :-)

I wasn't a teenager when I read it, but I enjoyed it too. It was sort of like a version of "The Lord of the Rings". Fluffy bunnies it isn't.

It's OK...I do know really! And even if it weren't, given the affection that my beloved TeenWonder has for all things lapine, I probably wouldn't object too much...the question is whether I'm Fiver or...no...definitely NOT Hazel. Hazel didn't have issues with being a leader...

Hoi, hoi u embleer Hrair,
M'saion ule hraka vair.

(OK, not a couplet we'll be introducing to Evensong in the very near future.)

Watership Down is *obviously* a book about storytelling!

As to which bunny: I think I'm definitely a Fiver, too.

I was "Siddhartha". Feels like a flashback to my misspent youth!
