Definitely still learning...

so I have no idea how I achieved this slightly weird effect when attempting to photgraph a rather good winter tree while out with LoudBoy, pony and dogs ...but I kind of like it. New toys are such fun!
Now if I can only persuade blogger to let me post pictures at intervals in my posts, rather than at the very beginning or nowhere.
Last day of real holiday today, so I'm busy, busy, busy doing as much nothing as I can. You'd never guess, would you?

You can Kathryn. I refer you to my posts of 26th and 27th Dec for proof.

Choose whether you want it left, right or centre, then drag it into postition. It might not go to the exact spot, but should be within a line or two of your perfect position.

Happy New Year. :0)

Cool photo!

I just got a digital camera a few weeks ago. It is so much fun to play around with.

If you switch to html mode when you've uploaded your photos to blogger, you can see exactly where you need to cut and paste to slot them in the correct places in your post. It's about four lines of code for each one. Then you can switch back to the other mode to check they're in the correct places.

I'll give it a go as soon as I've something else I want to post. You are all stars.

Love the bear - is he new or am I just unobservant?

You don't even need to go to html mode, actually. 1. Insert pic. 2. Select pic. 3. Copy pic (ctrl-C). 4. Put cursor where you want pic. 5. Paste pic (ctrl-v). 6. Delete pic from top of post.

OR you could just put the pic in first and write the post around it. :)

Your tree looks wonderfully impressionistic!

The Curate's Special Award for observant blog reading goes to MARY....Mary, meet Bostridge. Bostridge, meet Mary.
He is my new Christmas bear from TeenWonder, who now sits atop the short run of books on my desk, as a calming and benevolent presence. He also does a spot of pastoral work on the side, but mostly sings tenor and looks charming!

oh 'eck...have just re-read that and realise that it could well imply that all 6 foot of TeenWonder now sat upon my desk. Just to clarify, it is not he but the bear that he thoughtfully provided who is currently appearing on a short run of Bibles and commentaries!

Hmmm.... if there were an Ordinand's Award for pedantry I would gladly give it to you Kathryn. But we might have to share it with each other and give an honourable mention to Jackie at Jack the Lass.

But (again) is it TW or B who does pastoral work, sings tenor and looks charming.....? ( I suspect the lcue here is in the name).

TW sings tenor and is kind of charming on a good day....He also spends half the night trying to sort out miserable friends on msn...but would deny hotly that this is in any sense pastoral...so I guess it's the bear.
Maybe!
